Old Habits New

Having 4 days off and nothing to do in a new town, I've recently rekindle my love affair with an old habit/hobby of mine.

Yep. Word searches.

When I was a little girl, I would sit on the couch with my Mom for hours and do these. We would either share a puzzle and do it together or sit with our own books and race to see who could do it fastest. I always won, of course.

I randomly picked up one of these books up before I left Florida for the train ride up and the many flights back and forth. I've fallen for them all over again. I just sat on the couch and did 3 hours worth. I could have...should have....been reading a good book instead.

Seems like I have a another habit to break or at least I will need to learn to put my puzzles down for a good reading adventure occassionally.

Lori,
Welcome to the D.C area, and congratulations on your new job. We are really excited about having relatives living nearby--a first for us. We live about as far north of DC are you are west in Manassas, but that's still a lot closer than Florida. We would be happy to get together with you some weekend, both before and after Matt moves north. I am looking forward to the wedding, and a break from our chilly spring. DC is famous for going straight from winter to summer, but not this year, I guess. I promise you it will be warm--even hot--very soon. Here is my contact information. Stay well. Looking forward to seeing you and Matt on your special weekend.
